Itinerary day by day
01 Setting Off
02 **/Beijing/Chengde Hotel
Arrive in Beijing. Head for Chengde.
03 Chengde/Jinshanling part of Great Wall Hotel
Visit Chengde Summer Mountain Resort, Puning Temple and Little Potala.
04 Jinshanling/Huanghuacheng Hotel
Walk in Jinshanlin and Huanghuacheng parts of Great Wall. Have lunch on the way. Arrive at Huairou in the evening.
05 Huanghua/Beijing Train
Walk on Huanghuacheng Great Wall all the day and return to Beijing in the evening. Head for Datong by train(soft sleeper)
06 Datong/Mt. Wutaishan(Taihuai Town) Hotel
Arrive in Datong in the morning and have breakfast at Yugang Hotel. Visit Yungang Grottoes. Head for Xuankong Temple and have lunch on the way. Head for Mt. Wutaishan. Stay at Taihuan Town at night.
07 Mt. Wutaishan Hotel
Visit the temples on foot: Tayuan Temple, Xiantong Temple, Shuxiang Temple and so on.
08 Mt. Wutaishan/Taiyuan/Xi’an Train
After breakfast, head for Taiyuan by bus. Have lunch in Taiyuan and visit Jinci Temple. Head for Xi’an by train(soft sleeper).
09 Xi’an Hotel
Arrive in Xi’an in the morning. Have breakfast in the Hotel of Youth Association. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Forest of Stone Tablets Museum and Ancient City Wall in the morning and the Drum Tower, the Mosque and the Moslem Street in the afternoon.
10 Xi’an/Mt. Huashan Hotel
Visit the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and the Historical Museum of Shaanxi. Visit Emperor Qinshihuang’s Tomb Figures of Soldiers and Horses after lunch. Head for Mt. Huangshan in the afternoon.
11 Mt. Huashan Hotel
Visit West Mountain Shrine in the morning. Climb Mt. Huashan (about 5km). Stay in the hotel on the mount.
12 Mt. Huashan/Xi’an Hotel
Enjoy the sunrise and the east, west and south peaks of the mount on foot. Return to Xi’an by bus in the afternoon.
13 Xi’an/Beijing Hotel
Fly to Beijing in the morning. Visit Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Emperors.
14 Beijing Hotel
Visit the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and Hutongs.
15 Exit
