Itinerary day by day
01 Setting Off
02 **/Guilin Hotel
Arrive in Guilin. We will pick you up to the hotel.
03 Guilin/Daxu/Caoping Hotel
Head for Daxu Ancient Town by bus or ship after breakfast and then head for Caoping. Stay in Yunwu Mountain Villa. If the time permits, we can visit Guanyan Hole on foot in the afternoon. The length of the hole is 4200 meters in all, which is the largest-scaled stalactite holes in Guilin. We can choose various means of visiting. Return to the hotel and have dinner in the evening.
04 Caoping/Xingping Hostel
After breakfast, we arrive at Banbian Ferry by boat and then trek to Xingping along the Lijiang River. We will ferry 4 times during the trekking. Arrive in Xingping in the afternoon.
05 Xingping/Fuli Town/Yangshuo Hotel
Head for Fuli Town on gravelly road. We can enjoy the hills and water and rurality. When you arrive in Fuli Town, you can take a walk around the town, including the handcraft of folding fan with local characteristic.
06 Yangshuo/Guilin Hotel
Trekking around the villages near Yangshuo in the morning. Climb the Moon Hill and view the panorama of Yangshuo. Have lunch in local farmhouses. The whole journey this day is about 22km. Return to Guilin in the afternoon.
07 Guilin/Longsheng/Sanjiang Hotel
3 hours’ drive to Longsheng. Enjoy the scenery of Longji terraced fields and the Yao and Dong villages. Walk in the terraced fields for 1-2 hours and then visit Chengyang Wind-Rain Bridge.
08 Sanjiang Hotel
Trekking in the villages nearby Sanjiang. The trekking time is about 6-7 hours. Have lunch with local people. From Dong village in Ma’an, Chengyang to Mangpang via Pingtan, Jichang and Gaonong. Go back to downtown by bus.
09 Sanjiang/Congjiang/Rongjiang Hotel
Head for Congjiang by 3 hour’ drive. Head for Rongjiang after lunch by 2 hour’s drive. During the way, visit Basha Villages, Sanbao Dong Villages in Chejiang, Three Kings Palace, Renhe Bridge and Chankou ancient banyan.
10 Rongjiang/Leishan Hotel
Head for Leishan by bus. Visit Datang Miao villages along the road. Have lunch in Leishan and then visit Paika Village which is famous for Lusheng(a reed-pipe wind instument) producing and Yangpai Village which is famous for wooden comb producing.
11 Leishan/Kaili Hotel
Visit Xijiang “Thousands of Miao Villages” and National Museum in Kaili and nearby villages.
12 Kaili/Zhenyuan Hotel
About 4 hours’ drive to Zhenyuan. See the well-known silver productions in Shidong Town along the road. Have lunch in Zhenyuan and then visit the ancient buildings group near Qinglong Cavity the whole afternoon.
13 Zhenyuan/Liping Hostel
Head for Liping by bus.
14 Liping/Zhaoxing/Sanjiang Hotel
Leave Liping for Zhaoxing Village and visit the largest Dong Village of China.
15 Sanjiang/Guilin/Exit
Depart in the morning by bus and see the karst physiognomy along the road. When we arrive at Guilin, we will visit Ludi Roch, the Elephant Hill and Fubo Hill. Leave Guilin by air.

A: We have organized trekking in Miao and Dong villages in Kaili Region of West Guizhou Province since 1998. The latest longest trekking is 7 days’ trekking.
