1. Reservation, Deposit and Final Payment
All tour should be reserved and confirmed by Email, as a contract between you and NAVO. And a reservation will not be considered definitely until a 200USD non-refundable deposit is received. All deposits are per person per tour.
We will invoice you for the balance of the cost, which must be paid no later than 40 days prior to departure. Failure to pay the balance of the cost at this time will result in the booking being terminated and loss of deposit.
2. Cancellations, Refunds and Transfer
If you cancel your booking within 40 days, please see the cancellation charge table.

The date refers to the date we receive written notification of your cancellation and cancellation charges will be applied as shown above. After you send us the notification, please ensure that the notification is received by us.
You also can transfer your booking to another tour for a transfer fee of 600 RMB. For the details, contact with us by email. And the changes must be confirmed in writing by the person who made the original booking.
3. Basic group size
6 persons is the basic group size. If there is insufficient numbers to run the tour, you will have 2 choices.
*Cancel your tour, and receive a full refund.
*We will give you a price based on the present group size. The price may be a little higher than the original price because of the fewer guests in the group. If you agree with the new price, we will organize the tour for you.
Note: We will inform you 40 days before the departure, if the group size is smaller than the basic. And we are a China in-country tour agency, and you may book your international flights, so please consider about this aspect when you book the international flight tickets. We hope our recommendation here will help to make the risk bottommost.
4. If we cancel or Change your tour
We will let you know as soon as we can if no fault of your own, we are forced to significantly alter or cancel your tour, the reasons includes unavoidable, unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, and force majeure (war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute. If in these circumstances, you can choose one of the following options.
a) Cancel your holiday and receive a full refund.
b) Accept a substitute tour if we are able to offer you one. And if the substitute tour is of less value, we will refund you the difference.
5. Optional Local Payment
The local payment is an option of the tour cost. If you want to go, you may pay to the local guide, if you are not interested, you may refused to pay that.
6. Insurance
NAVO will buy the China Accidental Tourist Insurance for you starting from the date the guide meet you at airport, and ends at the date the guides send you to the airport or the starting and ending dates should accord with our tour dates contracted. The Chinese insurance is in developing, and the compensation cover is not as adequate as those in US and European countries. So we suggest you buy some insurance in your country to make sure that you have adequate cover for medical expenses and the cost of repatriation when you are too ill to continue.
7. Documentation
When you book the tour, you need to send us the scan of your passport (Valid for more than 6 month). If the tour requires special permits for you, we will tell you the other information you need to offer for permits application.
8. China Visa
You need to apply the China visa by yourself. 9. Flight Bookings
Since you may want to go anyplace before or after NAVO’s tour, NAVO can book either domestic or international flight tickets for you if you request. The flight fare can only be guaranteed when the flight booking has been paid for in full and a ticket has been issued. Flight booking can only be transferred when the airline allows transferring. If any surcharge, you need to pay by yourself, if the flight transfer is requested by you
Chengdu is the center of transportation in west China. We have more than 200 flights to almost all the big cities in China. In Chengdu, there is also direct international flights to Amsterdam (Holland and Europe), Hongkong , Taiwan, Bangkok (Tailand), Katmandu, (Nepal), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Jakarta (Indonesia), Tokyo (Japan), Seoul(South Korea) etc.
10. Conditions of Discounts
a) Early Booking Discount (5%) is available to any client who books a tour more than 5 calendar months before the departure date.
b) Repeat Booking Discount (5%) is available to any client who has traveled with NAVO since 1993.
c) Group Booking Discount (5%) is available to any client who books a group of 6 or more travelers in a single booking.
The listed discounts are not applicable to tours in the driving tours.
The discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer, other than those listed above. Neither can be transferable.
11. Tips
In China, Tip is expected though not compulsory. If you are satisfied with the services provided by your guides, drivers and your tour leader, a tip is appropriate. Whilst tipping may or may not be customary to your, it is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry crosses China.
